Mobility 2050
From the River walk to rural roads...
How should we move forward as nearly 1.4 MILLION more neighbors join our region?
We need YOUR INPUT to shape the future of TRANSPORTATION in the ALAMO AREA.
Update as of May 4, 2026
Due to a variety of reasons, the Mobility 2050 Update was postponed. Since the effort is being delayed, we are providing the public with additional time to submit input for our long-range planning efforts. The current engagement opportunity will be open until July 31, 2026.
The AAMPO team will be drafting the document in August and September. In October, the public will have an opportunity to review and comment on the draft Mobility 2050 Update and the 2027 Transportation Conformity Determination, which ensures the region meets federal air quality standards. Public comments may be submitted online and AAMPO will also hold in-person public meetings. Updated information, including meeting details and links to provide input, will be posted on this page as it becomes available. You may also sign up for our e-newsletter to be notified as soon as the public comment period opens.
