Background
The Mobility 2050: Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP), also known as the long-range transportation plan, was developed in collaboration with the region’s transportation partners and the public. It reflects the ongoing planning and project development efforts for implementation of transportation policies, programs and projects. The MTP sets the framework for the MPO’s continuous, comprehensive, and cooperative regional transportation planning efforts for the next 25 years. The plan provides for the efficient, safe and convenient transportation of people and goods while helping to achieve the metropolitan area's overall economic, social, energy and environmental goals.
